Event Overview / Community Field Day

On Saturday, July 26th, join us in Ellendale, North Dakota for a free, family-friendly community field day—hosted by Applied Digital and open to the public! At the heart of the celebration is a 16-team pickleball tournament, held on the brand-new courts we built in collaboration with local partners.

But pickleball is just the start.

Come enjoy a full afternoon of food trucks, games for all ages, live music, bingo, and free access to the city pool—all in the spirit of bringing the Ellendale community together.

Whether you're playing, cheering, relaxing, or just looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday, there’s something here for everyone.

Think you’ve got game?
Register your team to compete in Ellendale’s first-ever community pickleball tournament—hosted by Applied Digital and Partners on the brand-new courts in the city.

This will be a 16-team bracket (doubles only), so spots are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All experience levels are welcome. It’s free to play—but you must be 16 or older and signed up in advance.

Trophies, prizes, custom swag, and community bragging rights are all on the line. Let’s go!

Pick up your wristband, tournament info (if you're playing), and a free community swag item—then grab a coffee, say hello, and settle in before the games begin.

Opening Remarks & Tournament Bracket Reveal

Join us for a warm welcome from Martin Vega, followed by the official unveiling of this year's pickleball tournament brackets.

Find out who you'll face, cheer for your favorites, and get ready for a day full of friendly competition

Tournament Begins

Let the games begin! First serves hit the court at 11:30 sharp.

Teams will rotate through two courts in a bracket-style format—spectators are encouraged to grab a seat, cheer loudly, and enjoy the show.

Food Trucks & Drinks Open

Grab lunch and cool down! Local food trucks will be serving up crowd favorites with drinks, including adult beverages, available.

Head over to the shaded tent near the pool for some classic community bingo. We'll have prizes, plenty of laughs, and a seat waiting for you.
